The Wound Care Institute of Central New Jersey is unique in being the only medical practice in Somerset County devoted to the treatment and healing of wounds. It's Medical Director and founder, Dr. Howard Goldson, M.D., is a board certified surgeon trained in both general and vascular surgery. As a result, he is able to utilize many of the medical and surgical techniques available to help heal wounds.
According to Dr. Goldson, "Few other physicians are specializing in this field, and it appears to fill a wide gap in our medical community." Dr. Goldson not only sees patients in his Hillsborough office, but will also see them at the hospital or at area Nursing Homes or at Assisted Living facilities. This allows the patient to be seen and treated in a timely manner, and can avoid the high cost of transportation to and from a doctor's office.
